August 2024 The Lithuanian National Paying Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture has approved the application submitted by the Pamario Tourism Cluster and the project “Opportunities for the Development of Lithuanian Tourism Clusters in the Implementation of the Strategic Plan” will start.


The aim of the project is to increase cooperation between members of Lithuanian tourism clusters and their participation in the preparation and implementation of the Strategic Plan. The project aims to contribute to the implementation of the activities foreseen in the Lithuanian Rural Network 2023-2027 programme, the results of which create added value.

Project value – EUR 89 434. EU funding – 80 491 Eur.
The amount of the grant is EUR 80 491.

Of this amount, the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development will contribute up to EUR 34 611,13, i.e. 43 % of the support amount, and the Lithuanian State budget will contribute up to EUR 45 879,87, i.e. 57 % of the support amount.


The project aims to contribute to the implementation of the activities foreseen in the Lithuanian Rural Network 2023-2027 programme, the results of which create added value. The project events are aimed at increasing the involvement of stakeholders in rural development processes, improving the quality of SP implementation, sharing knowledge on SP implementation and related experiences, addressing specific problems of local tourism and presenting possible solutions to the problem, informing the general public and potential beneficiaries about SP policy, and promoting innovation in rural areas. The project aims to present the current opportunities for the development of local tourism and Lithuanian tourism clusters in Lithuania. How cooperation between these clusters, participation in the preparation and implementation of SPs and the initiation of joint projects could be encouraged. To share good practices of tourism clusters and strengthen cooperation between the private and public sectors.
